I have been a photographer in the Northwest area for about 8 years. My journey started in landscape photography, Photographing the Liverpool docks and all over the Lake District this is where I got to grips with what makes a good image great.
I then made the change into events photography shooting sports personality dinners for Manifest events having the privilege of photograph some of the biggest names in British boxing, but my true joy is found in photographing people and memories, I love shooting stunning portraits and magical weddings there is something about capturing real emotion in an image that I find truly fulfilling.
People close to me started to get married and didn’t want to hire an everyday wedding photographer, they just liked my style and wanted to be at ease on the day and have someone make it look fantastic.
The photography I shoot is a candid photo journalism style, I love this style of natural non posed photography as I feel it reflects real people in real situations in the most natural way possible and results in emotion packed images, not everyone feels comfortable in-front of a camera and my style allows people to just be themselves and enjoy a relaxed no stress session, I find this way I get better images that people love without taking anyone out of there comfort zone.
